I’ve been struggling with privacy and geo-locked content lately, which has me wrestling with using a VPN.
Should use a VPN at home? Well, I would say it is more of an ethical matter than anything else.
If you are using a VPN at home, then I assume that is because there is some sort of legislation or regulation against the use of such services. If this were the case, it would be ethical to fight those laws and/or regulations.
Let’s say you were living in a country, which has banned the use of VPNs. If you choose to ignore those rules and regulations and continued using them anyway, then that would be an ethical decision.
Using a VPN is not illegal in most countries, so I would consider that ethical. It’s all about choice and freedom.
I think that the use of VPNs should be completely legal in any country. It should be up to the individual if they want to use a VPN or not.
If you use a VPN at home, then I assume that some sort of legislation or regulation against such services exists. If this were the case, it would be ethical to fight those laws and/or regulations.
